Altes Pächterhaus
Verfügbarkeit
Behind the modest name is a small, beautiful manor house built for the Dukes of Oldenburg in the early 19th century — nine bedrooms, five bathrooms, and a generous living area of living room, salon, dining room and winter garden.
About this house
The Alte Pächterhaus (Old Tenant’s House) stands in idyllic seclusion on the Sievershagen estate, at the edge of the Holstein Switzerland countryside near Grömitz, beyond the little village of Manhagen. Within, antiques, oil paintings and the character of the old house sit comfortably alongside every modern convenience. It is a place with an atmosphere entirely its own.
One feels at home here in every season. In winter, the wood-burning stove lends warmth to the sitting room; in summer, the garden comes into its own. Its magnificent old trees offer a quiet refuge to the deer that so often wander among them. The garden, quite exceptional in these parts, is reserved for guests of the house throughout their stay.
With seven bedrooms and four bathrooms, the house is especially well suited to family gatherings, milestone birthdays and holidays shared by several generations. There is ample room to come together—and room, too, for a little solitude.
The Altes Pächterhaus can also be booked together with the neighbouring Kreuzkate for multi-generational stays of up to 14 guests combined.

A beautiful old house with a wonderful atmosphere and very tasteful décor! Highly recommended! We celebrated a milestone birthday there with family and friends; there was plenty of space, and everyone really enjoyed it! We were particularly impressed by how spotlessly clean the house was—so a special thank you to the caretaker couple!
Everything was perfect. Great accommodation. A very nice caretaker. The only thing that could (perhaps) be improved would be to provide a fully automatic coffee machine. But we were very satisfied and were able to celebrate our grandma's 80th birthday in style.
The house was beautiful and perfectly suited for a Christmas holiday with the extended family. The furnishings were authentic and of very high quality; every corner exuded history. The entire atmosphere—both inside the house and on the surrounding grounds—was truly special and wonderful. There was an abundance of space. The kitchen was generously equipped with everything one could need; nothing was missing. Cleanliness was also top-notch. Highly recommended!
