The Kreuzkate stands within the grounds of the Sievershagen estate near Grömitz, in a peaceful setting amid open countryside. Recently renovated, it combines warm colours with furnishings and fittings of excellent quality.
The sitting room, with its wood-burning stove, is the heart of the house. Generous windows admit both the light and the surrounding landscape. Upstairs, a spacious gallery offers children room to play, or a quiet corner in which to settle with a book. The bedroom is arranged as a restful retreat, with a desk for those who wish to attend to a little work during their stay.
The Kreuzkate may be booked on its own or together with the neighbouring Old Tenant’s House for gatherings of several generations and up to 14 guests. It is a pleasing arrangement for larger families wishing to share the estate for a weekend or longer. Grömitz beach and its promenade are about 15 minutes away, inviting long walks, bicycle rides along the coast and days by the sea.
Please note: The garden is not enclosed. Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a lead outdoors.
The Kreuzkate can be combined with the neighbouring Altes Pächterhaus for multi-generational stays of up to 14 guests.

Grömitz's beach and promenade are around 15 minutes away, with the sea and beach roughly 7.6 km out, restaurants 7 km away, and the Hamburg airport 100 km out. An EV charging point is in Lensahn, 5.7 km away.
A beautiful holiday home for relaxation and well-being. We had a wonderful time in this fantastic holiday home! The rooms are spacious and very well laid out. We particularly loved the blend of modern comfort and charming traditional elements—giving the house a style that is simultaneously chic, cozy, and incredibly inviting. Everything was spotless, well-maintained, and comfortable. The kitchen is excellently equipped, so we truly lacked nothing. The beds were very cozy, too, and we slept wonderfully. The huge grounds and the beautiful terrace are absolute highlights. The surroundings are incredibly quiet and peaceful—the perfect place to switch off, unwind, and truly relax. Communication and the entire process with the hosts were completely straightforward and seamless. For us, it was simply perfect. We felt completely at ease, were able to relax beautifully, and would come back anytime. Highly recommended! ❤️
We had a wonderful time at the Kreuzkate. The interior is furnished with love and good taste; everything was just right. The house offered plenty of space for the six of us adults and a toddler. Its location—surrounded by meadows, fields, and forests—is unique. Far removed from the usual holiday bustle, we were able to enjoy a truly relaxing vacation. It is a great starting point for bike rides—highly recommended. The small, thoughtfully stocked library is also inspiring. We also really liked the "playroom" for children upstairs. The nearby motorway is not a disturbance.
